That "Low rating for no reason" thing is really getting on my nerves. If you do that: Fuck you.
You should know that this makes you a hater, and hater votes don't help anybody.

Indeed man. Don't pay too much attention to it, if you have a good play and download ratio, then you are doing good. There's always going to be a smart-a$$ trowing some 0-bombs here and there.
Well, it doesn't really drag me down, you know. It just gets really annoying sometimes.
How do you know if someone gave your work a zero, your average ratings for most are around 4.
Well, it's not very noticeable on all the tracks. Especially on those with alot of ratings.
On those with like 2-3 ratings... those are very noticeable.
Basically one day it's like 5/5 and the other day its only 2.5/5
That makes sense because people who voted had the same voting power, one voted 5 and other voted 0.
Actually, forget what I said before. It's just that if you submit your work to the internet for others to see and rate, you're going to notice all the sudden changes.
right?
Maybe left?
It's the reality we artists have to deal with,we have fans who support us and others who do other things to 'attack' us.How would you deal with a hateful review then?
Depends on the review. If it offers constructive criticism, then I might accept it and try to improve.
If it's just a cunt who has nothing better to do saying "u suck ass lololol" or something like that, then chances are that I'll just ignore it.
How those short 'I like this!' comments?
I don't mind them at all. I mean, I'm glad that people say that they like my work, but it doesn't change the fact that they don't help me improve (if I actually need to improve something)
There's that saying,''The best criticism is no criticism at all.''
There may be that saying, but i disagree with it.
For example, imagine that theres this guy who makes absolute garbage and calls it amazing.
Like seriously, his melodies are just random banging on the keyboard, he overcompresses, squashes the dynamics, his mix is muddy, everything is distorted. And he thinks hes the next Skrillex or some shit...
I'd say that you won't just go and lick his ass. You won't praise him as his beats are "fire" or some shit.
You see my point?
Hate =/= Constructive criticism.
Hate is immature fuckery. Constructive criticism is help.
True, true but it's still better than bad criticism sometimes(I got one of my early furry drawings destroyed by a bully.)Still, bad criticism shows who my 'enemies' are and as crazy as it sounds,I think that 'encourages' me by making me feel important to be attacked and all the more wanting to do what I love and not give up on it!
That's just hate. The bully obiviously is very immature and has nothing better to do than make fun out of other's work. What I mean't by constructive criticism is that it defines what is bad and what is good, what you need to improve on, etc.
Yeah but I couldn't really blame him,we were in second or third grade. He was too immature(you were right about haters being immature there)or anti-furry.

Did someone do that to your work?

I feel like that happened to all of my work. You know... the 0-bombs...
